Portuguese company Multilem, a benchmark in brand experiences, stood out at this year’s World Travel Market (WTM) with the creation of five immersive spaces for global tourism organisations, including the Saudi Tourism Authority, AlUla, Diriyah, Soudah and Embratur Brasil. The 2,180 m² Saudi Tourism Authority space is the largest at the fair, reflecting Multilem’s commitment to integrating the latest event and exhibition trends into a high-impact environment.
The spaces designed by Multilem for the five tourism organisations occupy a total of 3,214 m² at ExCeL London, with innovative features such as touch screen maps, simulators and interactive screens that turn each destination into a sensory experience. The Red Sea Assouline installation – a four-metre book with LED screens – is an artistic highlight that represents the Red Sea and reflects Multilem’s commitment to creating experiences that combine the physical with the digital.
Luís Matos Chaves, Managing Director of Multilem Europe, emphasises the company’s commitment to innovation and sustainability: ‘WTM is an essential platform for Multilem to show its commitment to creating brand experiences that combine innovation with sustainability. We continually adapt to the trends and needs of the sector, whether through digital solutions, personalised spaces or ecological practices, in order to provide unique and immersive experiences that truly capture the essence of each destination.’
Multilem has invested significantly in technology, expanding its capabilities in digital content creation and AI integration. Teams specialising in hybrid experiences use cutting-edge technologies to integrate the physical and virtual worlds, providing customers with dynamic and interactive experiences. This focus on digitalisation, combined with sustainable practices, reflects Multilem’s commitment to an innovative and environmentally responsible future in the events industry.
