At Expo Osaka, Multilem supported the Saudi Tourism Authority in unveiling “Wonders of Arabia, a cultural showcase that invited Japan to discover Saudi Arabia’s heritage, contemporary creativity and iconic destinations. Through immersive installations, traditional crafts and symbolic pieces such as the Origami Camel, a gesture of friendship between Saudi Arabia and Japan, visitors explored Saudi traditions and modern wonders, from live cultural touchpoints to interactive brand experiences.
Challenge:
In a highly competitive World Expo environment, limited space, global media focus and diverse audiences,the challenge was to distil an entire nation’s cultural richness into a compact experience that was emotionally powerful, universally understandable and visually iconic.
Outcome:
The result was a seamlessly curated journey: from stepping into Cristiano Ronaldo’s locker room, to VR Formula 1 racing, to personalised Arabic–Japanese calligraphy. Each touchpoint amplified Saudi storytelling across destinations like Diriyah, Riyadh, Aseer, Jeddah, AlUla and the Red Se, elevating the Kingdom’s presence on a world stage and strengthening cultural ties between Saudi Arabia and Japan.
